By booking a session with Jalen Jones, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Creative Vision
You understand that photography is a subjective art form, and you are hiring Jalen Jones for his unique artistic style, expertise, and creative vision. While client preferences and input are valued, the final images and videos will reflect Jalen's professional judgment regarding composition, editing, and presentation.
Artistic Editing
Jalen Jones retains full discretion over the editing process. This includes but is not limited to adjustments in lighting, color grading, cropping, and retouching as well as which photos will be delivered and not delivered. Requests for edits outside of Jalen's standard style may incur additional fees and are subject to approval.
No Guarantee of Specific Results
While Jalen Jones will make every effort to accommodate requests and preferences, specific outcomes, poses, or shots cannot be guaranteed due to varying factors such as lighting, location constraints, or subject behavior.
Release of Control
By participating in these services, you release control over the creative and artistic aspects of the photographs & videos, trusting Jalen Jones to deliver high-quality work consistent with their portfolio.
Artistic Use
You acknowledge and agree that Jalen Jones may use selected images & videos from your session for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes unless otherwise specified in a written agreement prior to the session.
Subject Representation
Jalen Jones' editing approach aims to enhance natural beauty and preserve authenticity. Significant alterations (e.g., body reshaping) are not included unless explicitly agreed upon beforehand.
Acceptance of Final Images
The client acknowledges that the delivered images represent the final output of the session. Requests for re-edits after delivery may incur additional fees and are subject to Jalen Jones' availability.
Liability Waiver
The client releases Jalen Jones from liability for subjective dissatisfaction with the final artistic result, understanding that the delivered work will align with Jalen's professional standards.
Reserve Rights
Jalen Jones reserves the right to modify this platform at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, adding or removing materials from the site, selling the site, changing the terms of use, or shutting it down completely. Jalen Jones can do this at his own discretion without prior notice. Jalen Jones also reserves the right to edit and delete comments on this site. I appreciate and encourage constructive feedback and conversation, but any comments that are deemed to be derogatory or offensive — either towards an individual or a group — can and will be deleted with no notice.
Privacy Policy
Any personal information provided to Jalen Jones, including but not limited to your name and email address, will be kept private. You will not be spammed in any way, and if you choose to opt in to my mailing list, you will always be provided with an option to opt out. I will under no circumstances sell or otherwise disclose your information to third parties. Jalen Jones is NOT responsible for the privacy of your information if you follow an external link and provide your information directly to a third party.
Session Rescheduling or Cancellation
Rescheduling or cancellations must be communicated at least 1 week in advance prior to the shoot date. Fees may apply for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for arriving on time and prepared for the session. Any and all ideas, props, poses and wishes must be communicated 72 hours prior to the shoot date to insure an efficient and accurately planned session. Any delays or last-minute changes may result in a reduced or extended shooting time as well as a change in the amount of deliverables that were originally set.
No Guarantee of Specific Shots
I will make every effort to capture specific poses or moments requested by the client. However, no guarantee is made that every request will be fulfilled due to circumstances such as time constraints, cooperation of subjects, as well as technical or weather limitations.
Service Limitations
While every effort is made to provide high-quality photographs that meet client expectations, results may vary due to factors such as lighting conditions, location constraints, weather, and client cooperation.
Image Retouching
Basic image retouching and enhancements are available for purchase. Additional or extensive retouching requests may incur extra charges and must be discussed prior to the shoot date.
Model Release
By booking a session, the client agrees to allow Jalen Jones to use selected images for portfolio, promotional, or marketing purposes unless otherwise specified in writing prior to the session.
Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required 1 week prior to the shoot date to secure the booking. This deposit will be applied to the total session fee. If the client cancels or fails to attend, the deposit will NOT be refunded.
Wardrobe and Styling
Clients are responsible for their own wardrobe, hair, and makeup unless otherwise specified in a contract.
Safety Clause
Jalen Jones reserves the right to terminate the session if the location, behavior, or circumstances pose a safety risk to the client, Jalen, or his equipment.
Damage to Equipment
The client may be held responsible for any intentional or negligent damage caused to the equipment during the session.
Third-Party Involvement
Jalen Jones is NOT responsible for delays, cancellations, or quality issues resulting from third-party vendors or service providers (e.g., makeup artists, venues).
No Raw Files
Raw, unedited images or footage will not be provided under any circumstances. Clients will receive only the final, edited images & videos.
Privacy and Confidentiality
I will always respect the client’s privacy. Personal details and sensitive information shared during the booking process will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s consent.
Photograph Alterations
Clients are prohibited from altering the delivered images (e.g., applying filters or edits) without my consent to preserve the integrity of the work. Failure to comply with these conditions may result In legal action.
Digital File Storage
I will store digital files for a limited time of 1 month after delivery. Clients are responsible for downloading and securely storing their images.
Archive Policy
I will NOT store images indefinitely. Clients are advised to download and back up their final files promptly upon delivery.
Travel Fees
Additional charges may apply for sessions held outside of the designated service area. Travel fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.
Allergies and Medical Conditions
The client must disclose any allergies or medical conditions that could affect the session, especially if props, pets, or outdoor locations are involved.
Non-Disruptive Behavior
Clients and their guests are expected to maintain respectful and non-disruptive behavior during the session. Jalen Jones reserves the right to terminate the session without a refund in cases of harassment or unsafe conduct.
Event Coverage Disclaimer
For sessions that involve events, Jalen Jones is NOT responsible for missed moments due to restrictions by event coordinators, limited mobility in the venue, or insufficient time in the schedule.
Client-Provided Props
Any props provided by the client must be safe and suitable for use during the session. Jalen Jones reserves the right to decline the use of props that pose safety concerns or do not align with the session’s theme.
Digital Delivery Issues
Jalen Jones is NOT responsible for delays or failures in digital image delivery due to technical issues beyond their control, such as email delivery problems or internet connectivity.
Equipment Malfunction
In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, Jalen Jones' liability is limited to rescheduling the session or refunding a portion of the session fee.
Child or Pet Photography
Parents or guardians must supervise children at all times during the session. For sessions involving pets, the client is responsible for managing their behavior and ensuring safety.
Attendance Policy
Only individuals explicitly included in the session are allowed to attend. Additional guests or distractions may impact the quality of the session and are discouraged unless prior approval is given.
Weather Policy
Outdoor sessions are subject to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, I will reschedule the session at no additional cost, based on availability.
No Refunds
Due to the custom nature of photography, all sales are final. Refunds are not available once services have been rendered.
Social Media and Tagging
Clients are welcome to share their photos on social media but must not alter the images (e.g., apply filters) and are requested to credit or tag me where possible.
